~ Once a baby has head control (from

carriers allowing your baby to start
looking around much more but he/she is
also able to snuggle into you.

~ Ringslings are fully adjustable by
pulling at the fabric through the rings.
~ Pouches are sized very closely to you,
and can be tightened up a little once on
by turning back some of the fabric over
your shoulder.

Advantages: Quick and easy for getting on and off, and pouches particularly
fold up very small. Ring slings are also great for breastfeeding mums.
Disadvantages: These do not distribute the weight as well as other carriers,
so are not recommended for carries longer than an hour.
Ring Sling: Can take a little while to get the hang of (you should feel confident
after a week of a little use each day).
Pouch: Accurate sizing means that it cannot usually be shared with other
adults.

What am I paying for?
The fabric on ring sling needs to have a little give in the weave to make it
comfortable, but also be strong enough to stay firm and have no slippage. A
pouch needs to be strong in the right places - we stock Lifft Sling pouches as
they have a special panel that is a little stretchier within the inner layer of the
pouch where it is need
