These really are gorgeous slings! They can be used for special occasions, but why not use it every day? The slings are machine washable, but they will lose some of their sheen. If you want to keep the sheen, just dry clean your sling.

They all have a useful patch pocket for keeping a few essentials to hand, and each sling comes with an instructional DVD.

The Ellaroo Ring Sling is a simple all-around sling, with a touch of padding in the shoulder and rails.  The inner and outer rails are fully independently adjustable through lightweight brushed aluminum sling rings. The sling is designed to slightly cup the shoulder and spread naturally over the back, keeping baby secure and close to your centre of gravity. It's great for newborns, right through to toddlers.

This sling gets lots of great reviews on the babywearing forums as a great beginner sling—but I still use mine all the time! It also comes with an instructional DVD.

The shoulder has a light pad which helps you to position the sling correctly as it cups the shoulder for you.  It is 100% cotton which is easy to adjust through the rings, and is surprisingly wide allowing you to make a deep pouch if you need to. It has a very useful pocket in the tail which is big enough to hold a nappy and a couple of wipes, or perhaps your keys if you are forever losing them in the bottom of your bag!

A ring sling is worn over one shoulder and is adjusted by pulling and loosening the fabric through two metal rings. The material is then spread across your back to help distribute the weight. There are lots of different positions, suitable for different ages of your child.

Slings are a good carrier from birth until well into toddlerhood and fold up quite small so are easy to have in the car or a change bag. They also look fantastic, whether you choose cotton or silk.  You will be surprised at how easy and comfortable slings are to use and wear. By keeping your child close to your body and carrying them in the position that you would naturally carry them in, they  reduce strain on your arms and shoulders.
