Mei Tais—£52.00 These carriers are mostly designed for back and front carrying, although some people also use them for hip carries. They have a tie around the waist, with a piece of cloth covering the baby’s or toddler’s back, with two straps which then come over your shoulders, crossing on your torso and then tying back around your body below the baby’s bottom. They look complicated, but are actually very easy to use, especially for beginners in the front carry position. The weight is distributed across your waist and torso evenly with very little drag on your shoulders as the carrier holds your child into your body. Mei Tais stocked by Ellaroo.
